Mission Statement
The mission of the Windham Police Department is to deliver effective and responsive law enforcement services to all citizens in the Village of Windham in a fair and equitable manner.  As a visible and integral part of the Windham community, we are committed to communicate and join with those we serve to establish priorities that enhance the quality of life in Windham, Ohio. The Windham Police Department is committed to the stated mission through the development and pursuit of goals designed to enhance services to the community. The mission/philosophy of the Windham Police Department is three-fold: to protect the life, individual liberty and property of all people within the city; to develop and maintain a positive relationship with members of the community; and to foster a positive working environment for police employees.

We will be committed to the community and the values set forth by our nation’s constitution.
