Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Village of Windham will not be sanctioning door to door Trick-or-Treat this year for the protection of our seniors, kids and residents. In its place, we will however be holding a Trunk-or-Treat in the parking lot of the KT Elementary on Wednesday, October 28th from 5:00PM-7:00PM. Members of the Police and Fire Department, as well as elected officials, will be passing out candy to kids of both the Village and Township during that time.
We ask that participants walk into the KT from either Maple Grove or Wilverne Dr. and they can walk through the row of treats that will be set up to pass to our kids. For the safety of our kids, no vehicles will be allowed into the KT parking lot. If parents elect to walk with their children, they must have a mask on, and all children above 10 years old should also have a mask on, as well as their costume.
If any residents wish to donate candy or other treats to be passed out, please drop those items off at the Windham Police Village offices during business hours.
