Welcome to the NEW WindhamVillage.com

This is Brandon Giovannone, of MDIStudios.com, and I wanted to welcome you to Windham’s new website. For the past 2 months, I have been creating a new easy to guide, clean, and elegant website for Windham. During this time, I researched other modern community websites to give the best elements for the new WindhamVillage.com.

4 years ago when we launched the old site, how people use websites, what devices they use them on, and how the look and feel of a website should be has changed tremendously. Over 75% of Google searches come from phones or tablets and only 25% from desktops. Unlike our old site, the new site was designed with mobile phones and tablets being the first choice of device to review the site.

So What are the major difference.

#1 You will notice that on mobile phones it is very easy to use the buttons provided to get to the pages you are looking for.

#2 We have added a few new pages to help maintain a one stop website for community members. - Departments On this page you will see a list of all the departments Windham has and departments that are not maintained by the village but are necessary to the community.

This section is in a growing stage. Soon, each department page will have detailed information and important documents or links to help guide you.

#3 The New Ordinances – Resolutions – Council Minutes page - Each topic is divided by 2019 or 2018 prior - You will notice with 2019 it is much easier to read the document title, and download to review.

#4 The new Contact Page - You will notice an easy to read Staff Directory - Easy to read and fill out Report Problem Forms - Job Openings is a new page to the site and will be updated when Village jobs become available - Council Calendar is still in basic format - Community Events Calendar is a new format that will be able to display upcoming events with pictures, info, and any related fliers or forms

#5 News Blog page - You will notice 2 topics 1 for community news the other for community alerts - This will be controlled by the admin office

My hope for this new site is to make it easier for community members to get the information they need fast and easy.

If you have any comments, questions, or suggestions based off the new site please email them to me directly at brandon@mdistudios.com

Thank you Brandon Giovannone www.MDIStudios.com
